I took my partner to benidorm for the first time ever last week (May 14th 2024). Along with it mother and 1 year old son.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the staff at La Era Park where welcoming, Friendly and very professional.

The rooms are basic but spacious and very clean. Inside the room was a comfy sofa. With a pull out bed from under the sofa. Plenty of plates and cups.

Kettle, Fridge (mini freezer built in), toaster, pots and pans. Bottle opener and plenty of knives and forks. As well as a sink and a electric hob.

Next room had 2 single beds a safe (€2 a night). I found the single beds to be a little uncomfortable. However my partner said hers was comfortable. You also have a bathroom with a shower and sink and a toilet.

Pool area was decent. Plenty of tables and sunbeds. A pool table, football table, €1 blind bag toy machine, temporary tattoos machine and a hockey table and punching bag machine.

Breckfast at the hotel bar was very nice. As was the afternoon bites to eat like fries, burgers and hotdogs and pizza. Around the back is where we spent most of our swimming time. A small kids pool our 1 year old son loved playing in. This was very quiet around the back. Plenty of tables and chairs by the kids pool.

I noticed during my stay the elderly and families like mine where kept to the lower floors. The stag goers / big groups where kept to the the hotel/apartments. This was great as we hardly heard any noise during the night.

My only negative comment I can say about staying and it's something that didn't effect me personally but I know will annoy other guests.

By the pool there are signs with rules. One of the rules are you can't reserve a sunbed. Meaning you can't be running down to the pool area as 5am and putting a towel on all the best sunbeds for you and your friends and then going back to your room to sleep until 12pm. However, On 3 occasions this very rule was broken and noting was done about it. Someone out of a group of girls kept going down very early in the morning and placing 6 towels on sunbeds. They didn't turn up to the pool until about 2pm. I stuck to the baby pool during my stay so it didn't effect me. However, If I did wait to sit on one of them beds when I was up at 10am I would of moved them my self. But I think the staff should keep on top of these sunbed tower reserves in future.

But I'm not letting that little annoyance stop me from leaving a 5 star review.

It can get rowdy around the pool and at night I think a lot of hen and stags use it

It’s basic, up a hill, fairly noisy because they get a lot of stag and hen dos.

The pool is cleaned regularly on a morning but it does take some hammer during the day whem there are groups staying at the hotel. Have you tried the little pool out the back? Usually very quiet and a nice area away from the building works going on opposite. Spent a couple of peaceful afternoons there a month ago!

Nichola Service - We are here in la era park apartments ,the apartments are OK, but the pool is disgusting, looks dirty ,wouldn't go in it as who nos wot germs u will pick up ,it should be lovely & clean ,,would,nt stay he again staff are very friendly tho there is only one lift working too ,plus there were a group of boys in the pool all day shouting & making a hell of a noise .if we come back we will stick to the busier end of the town .

I’m in La era park right now and it’s ok they allow hen doos and stag doos, it’s about 10-15 minutes walk away from the main strip of bars, two supermarkets very nearby one is literally around the corner. It’s in old town so a little bit more quiet on a night time compared to Newtown. I was going to stay at Pierre and vacances but then the prices went up so I ended up at era park instead.

Self Catering or Bed And Breakfast means great value comes as standard. More importantly, you can try out some local foodie flagships…

Myself and partner had our honeymoon cancelled so we ended booking with jet2 and landed in this hotel wasn't expecting much with only 2 star but what an absolute brilliant place staff are brilliant they found out about us getting married and went out of their way to get us a little gift.
Pool and room were spotless we have had a brilliant time

We stayed here in November and it was spot on. The rooms are quite big and the balconies are huge.

We always got taxis to the square as we had heels on every night but was only 5-6 euro. A nice walk down to the beach in about 10 mins and also ideal for the old town as well. I would go back with the girls or couples but probably wouldn't take the kids xx
